Another week in the books...and, it was, eh?
No better word - it wasn't a bad week and it wasn't a good week. It was just eh.
I didn't run/walk as much as I wanted. Only 8.5 miles. It got cold and damp in Des Moines this week and that means my right knee and ankles are both super stiff. They will eventually get used to the cooler weather, but it takes a few weeks. In the meantime, I'll do what I can.
Most of the week I was pretty spot on with my tracking and nutrition. Then yesterday happened.
We had a bacon themed food day at work. It was delicious. And, I enjoyed it - fairly in moderation as well. But, I'm 30 and I'm officially old enough to now get sodium related bloats. On Thursday when I peeked at the scale it said 148.4 - this morning, after my salty bacon yumminess, I was back up to 149.0.
Eh.
I'm not even mad about it - I'm still down and I know I'm retaining fluids from the salt. I'll be more or less detoxed by Monday.
This week's goals:
Run/Walk: 13 miles.
Yoga: at least twice
Skate: try to get outside when it's not raining and trail skate twice
Track: 6 out of 7 days.

YEah my scale is making me mad this week I'm up 4lbs since my 1/2 marathon mostly because of salt intake but also because my body is mad at me for Sunday....lol so worth it.
