WLJ Weekend Update: 1.7.12

And...it's 2012. The year I will turn 30. Ugh. But, it's also the year I get to move to NYC!

In 18 days, I'll be a resident of, what many people say, is the best city in the world.

I'm so excited/anxious/happy/nervous!

OMG...I still can't believe I'm actually doing it.

Now it's time to get serious about tracking. I just haven't been doing it and I know it is the one thing that will give me results.

So...

How about a tracking challenge? I'll post each day, now through Tuesday, January 24th (the day before I fly out) what I eat and how much I exercise each day. I'm not going to focus on the actual weight loss during that time, just tracking. I'll give y'all my weight today and on the last day, but not daily. I think 18 days is a good number, it's long enough to get me back in the habit of tracking, but not so long that blogging will turn into a pain in my butt :)

What should I name this challenge? How about "Big City Trackdown". Instead of countdown. Get it? No? Well, I have nothing better so I'm going with it.

I've also been using a few more products to get myself motivated to move, I'll try to do some reviews of them throughout the next couple weeks.

So...Challenge starting weight 142.4. I'm up a bit from two weeks ago, but my dot started yesterday, I'm sure some of it is bloat. I'm still hoping to be under 140 by the time I move, but like I said, I'm going to focus on tracking instead of the scale. I have control over what I put in my mouth and whether or not I exercise. I have little control over that scale.
