Results of previous week's goals:
- Run 20 miles; completed 23.58 miles
- hula-hoop for 20 mins (4x5 mins); nope, but I did complete 60 mins of weights
- track all 7 days; yes
- get all 8HG 6 days; only 5
- breath; successful
- chant my mantra, to keep myself in the present; only thing that got me through a couple days
- order mini sports hoops as a birthday gift for myself; will be doing this today
Best birthday gift I ever gave myself. You all better know that I'm whipping out my skinny jeans to wear today! Did I get to under 140 by my birthday, no, but I'm pretty darn close. And I feel good. That's the most important thing. I'm doing better with making exercise and myself a priority. So...let's look at the difference one month makes:
- Start weight: 149.2; end weight 141.8 = loss of 7.4 pounds or 1.85 pounds per week.
- Only exercise once the week before starting challenge - now exercising 5 times a week
- was slacking on meds - now always takes them
- wasn't tracking at all - now tracks almost every day
Congrats, hey tell me more about hooping I have another friend who is loving it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ladies! I feel wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAmber, I started hooping last summer and I can honestly say that it shapes up your core FAST. I love it. I read somewhere that whatever activity you liked to do as a kid is what you should try to do as an adult, and I loved hooping. I can't wait to get my arm hoops - I can do all sorts of modified pilates with them! I was thinking of doing a vlog about hooping - do you think anyone would be interested?
