Plateau begone!

So, the first week of 2011 is done and I seem to be starting the year on a high-note:  I finally broke my weight-loss plateau that I've had for the last year or so.  After losing 55+ pounds I just couldn't lose anymore weight!  So frustrating.  I was following the old Weight Watchers Points plan and it was taking me nowhere fast.  In fact, I actually gave up on the program for about half the year which resulted in me gaining about 7 pounds back.

Then late last year WW came out with the PointPlus plan.  I thought, "what do I have to lose?" and rejoined.  Not only did I lose all the weight I re-gained, but as of this morning at 7:30 I broke my plateau!  Officially, I'm down 59.8 pounds from my highest weight.  The new plan is great, I'm not hungry at all and fruits are now "FREE" which means I don't use any of my daily points on them.  PointPlus focuses more on the quality of foods as opposed to just calories in vs calories out.  I've heard nothing but great things from others who have made the switch and my mother who has watched me the last month or so is now willing to try it!!!  Jennifer Hudson is right, "Weight Watchers, because it works."

Funny thing, now that I've broke plateau I feel like I can conquer anything!  I have a feeling that my 30 before 30 list may not take that long and I have lots and lots of things to work on.
